Uganda has one of the youngest populations in Africa.
It is, therefore, not a mistake if they stand up to ask for seats from a government that makes them feel they have no share in Uganda.
I believe it will never make sense if you claim how Idi Amin and Obote were dictators yet it is only you they have seen for decades as president.
They have all the reasons and courage to call you a dictator just because even their fathers, some as young as 38 years, have only seen one perennial president: you, Mr CEO.
When you use slogans like ‘securing your Future’ after 30+ years in power, it raises questions such as: what is he securing for us in five years that has failed to be completed in 30+ years?
I believe they will be justified if they join their fellow youth who comes witha slogan: “we are removing a dictator.”
With the continuous usless surplus budgets that are being passed by the paliament, it should not surprise you if the obsessed young generation stand up to fight for their taxes which are not put to good use.
With a good number of MPs above the age of 50, it is difficult to convince young people that such legislators are fighting for them to have a share of the national cake.
Mr CEO, with continued corruption, embezzlement of funds, tribalism and other ills in your company, it shouldn’t surprise you that the youth have started fighting to have their voices heard.
Remember pressure applied at one side of the fluid is equally transmitted throughout to the liquid as clearly stipulated in the laws of physics.
