Swangz Avenue singer Winfred Nakanwagi aka Winnie Nwagi is in the news over her viral ‘sumbie’ video and her reaction to a fan who filmed her ‘down there’ as she performed at the weekend.
Winnie Nwagi was one of the entertainers that left revelers at Swangz Avenue’s Roast and Rhyme ‘Raggae Nyam Nyam’ show.
Others included: Jose Chameleone, Kenneth Mugabi, Mudra, Elijah Kitaka, Kenneth Mugabi, Roots Worriers band, Tshaka Mayanja, Ziza Bafana, and Vinka.
While most of these put up great performances, Winnie Nwagi offered her fans more than music: a sneak peek of her ‘sumbie.’
A video shot by a fan captured Nwagi’s ‘sumbie’ as the singer performed for her excited fans.
At a previous event, Winnie Nwagi had slapped another fan who had tried to film her under the skirts.
Now, Nwagi has made it clear that she will keep thumping ‘disrespectful’ fans.
“Fans need to know where they stop and where we can interact. For instance, why would you try to film me under my skirt when I’m performing,” said Nwagi.
“I will keep beating them up if they can’t know their limits. I don’t want ‘kamanyiro’ from fans. They should only be part of my music journey and not my personal lifestyle and choices.”
