NOT DEAD: Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura has dismissed reports claiming that her boss Erias Lukwago is dead.
On December 05, claims that Lukwago had passed on circulated on social media.
But Nyanjura has revealed the Lord Mayor is out of danger.
She added that a joint team of top doctors from both Aga Khan Hospital and Nairobi Hospital had discharged Lukwago December 05 morning.
Nyanjura further announced Lukwago would return home on December 07.
“The Lord Mayor is stable, he was discharged today [December 05] Morning and is traveling back on Monday. Omuloodi Waali [the Lord Mayor is going nowhere,” Nyanjura said.
Lukwago’s latest communication, according to his social media pages, was about the death of Sheikh Hamza Nuhu Batte Muzaata.
