NUP Boss Breaks Silence on Reports that Top Bobi Wine Party Officials are on Salim Saleh’s Payroll

Reports that top officials at Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) were closely working with President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s brother Gen Caleb Akandwanaho aka Salim Saleh.

Gen Salim Saleh is the coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC).

In recent weeks and months, Gen Saleh has been meeting several groups of people in the northern city of Gulu to preach to them the gospel of wealth creation.

Some of his guests have included artistes, who some critics claim he patronizes.

Recently, social media conversations between NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi and secretary general David Lewis Rubongoya seemed to suggest that Saleh had penetrated the main opposition party and was already wiring cash to these two officials and that their boss Bobi Wine had okayed the deal with Saleh.

But Ssenyonyi, also Nakawa West MP, has termed the crafters of the conversation dense idle people.

“But who are these who sit for hours just to create Fake stuff?? They aren’t even smart, I’ve had the same WhatsApp profile picture(my campaign poster) for over a year but it’s not the one they used, they forgot that detail,” said Ssenyonyi.

“The Bible says; idle hands are the devil’s workshop, idle lips are his mouthpiece – Proverbs 16:27(TLB).”
