NTV Uganda begs UCC to identify fan who masturbated live on Mix Show, apologizes to viewers

NTV Uganda says it has suspended the producer and director of NTV Mix Show after a video of a fan masturbating played live on the program.

The station’s management said it did “regret this unfortunate incident” where “one of the online participants appeared to have indecently exposed himself.”

NTV has also “reported the matter to Uganda Communications Commission.”

“We have also appealed for assistance in identifying and prosecuting the individual who carried out the indecent act,” management added.

Besides the suspension of the director and producer, and reporting to UCC, NTV Uganda said it had started an inquiry into the NTV Mix Show live masturbation indident.

“All our studio technical staff, program producers and presenters have also been cautioned to exercise better judgement and to always be midnrul of such mischievous program participants,” continued Management in its statement.

Commiting to continuously observe minimum broadcasting standards, NTV Uganda said it “sincerely apologises to our esteemed viewers and other stakeholders for this unfortunate event.”
