National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has spoken out on whether he will run for president for a second time, in the year 2026 when Ugandans go to the polls. 

Kenyan President Dr William Samoei Ruto has finally spoken out on reports that some National Assembly and Senate members subscribing to his United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Kenya Kwanza Coalition were planning to present a bill to amend the country's Constitution to remove presidential term limits so that the newly sworn in leader can reign over Kenya non-stop the way Uganda's President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has ruled his countrymen and women for nearly four decades.

Newly elected Kenyan President Dr William Samoei Ruto has released the list of people he has nominated as Principal Secretaries (PS) in various state departments, pending approval by the relevant committees of the National Assembly.

A long-serving Member of the South Sudanese Parliament has died in the South Sudan capital Juba after a short illness. Veronica Louis Renzi was aged 73 and had been a law maker for 47 years. Renzi represented a constituency in Western Equatoria State under Salva Kiir's government. She was a nominated member of the SPLM in the Revitalized Transitional Legislative Assembly (R-TNLA).
