Outgoing Kampala Woman MP Nabilah Sempala Naggayi is in trouble after members of the Sebagala family threw her clothes out of their house in Buziga that she wants her new man Prof Venansius Baryamureeba to take over after she and her husband Isaac Sempala failed to pay the professor’s Shs850m.
Drama ensued on March 12 after Nabilah attempted to throw Sempala out of the house to make way for Baryamureeba.
Police commanders from Katwe and Kabalagala had led their officers in a raid at the Buziga home to see to it that Nabilah throws the father of her four children out of the house.
Nabilah and Sempala had secured Shs850m, largely to facilitate the MP’s campaigns, from the former Makerere University vice chancellor and ex-presidential candidate.
Although Sempala says he cleared a huge chunk of the money and expected Nabilah to pay the rest — which he says was Shs44m — Baryamureeba says he only received Shs50m from Nabilah.
The scene at Buziga would have turned more chaotic had a court order not restrained Nabilah from evicting Sempala.
