Nathan Okori, the father to the late Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah, has reportedly told mourners that his son did not die of natural causes and could have been poisoned.
In February 2022, Oulanyah was rushed to Seattle for treatment. (Read Story Here).
On March 20, President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni announced that Speaker Oulanyah has died. (Read Story Here).
Okori is said to have told mourners at his home in Omoro County that his son could have been poisoned.
Oulanyah’s father reportedly told the mourners that his son did not not die of natural causes.
But he is said to warned against distortion and politicization of the information on his son’s death.
Information minister Chris Baryomunsi has rubbished allegations that Oulanyah was poisoned, further telling Ugandans to await the postmortem report.
