My husband Isaac Sempala’s brother stole my knickers – Nabilah tells police

Outgoing Kampala Woman MP Nabilah Naggayi recently filed a case of theft of her knickers and other personal property against her husband’s brother (brother-in-law) Farouk Ntege and other relatives.

In a case filed under number 26/2021 at Kibuye Police Post, Nabilah alleges that her knickers got lost during a scuffle at their home at Katuuso, Buziga on March 24.

Several women rights organizations have vowed to take up this case of theft of the politician’s knickers and other property.

“On 13 March 2021, one Mr. Farouk Ntege, was seen in the media throwing out
Nabilah’s personal effects from her marital home,” the organizations said in a joint statement issued last week.

“Her knickers, gomesi and
jewellery were stolen – a case file No. 26/2021 was opened in this regard at Kibuye Police station.”

They also accused Nabilah’s in-laws of plotting to harm the legislator.

“On 24 March 2021, her in-laws in full view of media mobbed her home
in an attempt to cause her harm for reoccupying her marital home in Katuuso-Buziga, Kampala,” added the activists.
