Gender, labour and social development minister Frank Tumwebaze has saluted academic and politician Dr Stella Nyanzi for ‘speaking truth to Bobi Wine.’
Dr Nyanzi has in recent days taken on Bobi Wine (Robert Kyagulanyi) and his National Unity Platform (NUP) party and supporters.
She has used poetry to criticize Bobi Wine, comparing him to a dictator.
Tech giant Facebook has since been watching Nyanzi’s account closely after Bobi Wine’s supporters reported her.
Yet the academic was won administration from ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party and government officials for her boldness.
Minister Tumwebaze has praised Nyanzi for holding Bobi Wine accountable.
“Unlike many opposition folks who follow the dogma of only being anti-Museveni and NRM, Dr Stella Nyanzi rejects this . Hers is called “Erga omnes” ( towards all),” said Tumwebaze.
“Apply the same litmus paper to whoever aspires to lead. Very logical i guess ? Wait now and see the insults on her.”
