‘Museveni Government Must Quickly Release Detailed Report on What Exactly Killed Jacob Oulanyah’

Opposition Democratic Party (DP) has called on President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s government to urgently release a comprehensive report on the cause of death of Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah, the former speaker of Parliament.

Now, DP, through its spokesperson Okoler Opio Lo Amanu, has called on government to urgently release the full report on the cause of Oulanyah’s death.

“We note that the circumstances surrounding his death continue to polarize
opinions which have buttressed our demand that the government releases a
comprehensive medical report detailing the cause of his death, this will
allay the fears and set still the controversies as opposed to the piecemeal
method of releasing information appearing concomitantly with threats from
government,” said Okoler.
