President and Commander-in-chief of armed forces Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has promoted more UPDF officers, including Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Edith Nakalema and Deo Akiiki.
Lt Col Nakalema is the head of State House Anti-Corruption Unit (SH-ACU) while Lt Akiiki is the deputy spokesperson of the national army.
Gen Museveni has promoted both Nakalema and Akiiki to the rank of colonel.
The promotions are an addition to those announced at the weekend.
