Muhoozi: I’ll Win Power and Become Uganda’s President; I’m Unstoppable

First son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has announced that he and his team (Team MK) will win power.

In a series of declarations issued on May 01, Lt Gen Kainerugaba said he was unstoppable.

Describing his father President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni of Uganda and his ‘uncle’ Paul Kagame of Rwanda as the best strategists alive, the first son swore he and his team will win power.

Kainerugaba even revealed that his first intervention will be to raise the sports ministry budget.

“I consider President Museveni and President Paul Kagame the best strategists that ever lived!” announced Kainerugaba.

“When Team MK wins power in this country, which we will! Our first act will be to increase the Sports budget!” 

He also claimed that he and his team were ‘unstoppable’ and that their in the souls of Ugandans.

“Thank you very much Rukungiri! Team MK is sweeping across the country. It is unstoppable and it is deeply rooted in the Ugandan soul,” said Museveni’s son.

This is the first time Lt Gen Kainerugaba is openly declaring his interest in power in Uganda.

He recently said he was never interested in power but Gen David Sejusa and ‘other haters’ made Ugandans love him through ‘Muhoozi Project’ talk. (Read Story Here).

Gen Sejusa has since advised Muhoozi on how to deal with enemies within the first son’s bid for presidency. (Read Story Here).

Another former army commander Maj Gen (Rtd) Mugisha Muntu has told Museveni to allow his son retire from the army so that he can pursue his presidential ambitions. (Read Story Here).

On April 23, Kainerugaba held a birthday party at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

At the party, Lt Gen Kainerugaba, also the Commander of UPDF Land Forces, unveilled his plan for Ugandan youth. (Read Story Here).

Earlier, Muhoozi had addressed those who participated in a marathon to honor him. The first son said the country was on fire because of him. (Read Story Here).

Also attending the birthday dinner was Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
