Kawempe North MP-elect Muhammad Ssegirinya has been rushed to Aga Khan Hospital in the Kenyan capital Nairobi for treatment.
Granted bail days ago, Ssegirinya sought treatment hours later.
His doctors have reportedly advised him to seek specialized treatment outside Uganda.
Ssegirinya flew out of Uganda on Sunday.

The politician had been remanded at Kitalya Prison since March 22 for inciting violence.
