MONEY MATTERS! Barbie Kyagulanyi’s ‘Powers on NUP Bank Accounts’ Explained After Allegations

Main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) has cleared the air on allegations that Barbie Kyagulanyi is a signatory for all accounts of main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP).

Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo is the official wife of singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the president of NUP.

There have been allegations that Barbie Kyagulanyi was a signatory to all NUP accounts, with social media activists tasking the main opposition party to offer an explanation.

In response, NUP Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya has cleared the air on the matter, trashing the claims as fake and false.

According to Rubongoya, it is not true that Barbie Kyagulanyi is a signatory to any of the accounts held by the party.

The NUP Secretary General further explained that only Bobi Wine, himself and the National Treasurer are signatories.

“No. Mrs. Barbie Kyagulanyi is not and has never been a signatory to any NUP account,” he noted.

“The signatories to the single Party account we have are the President, Secretary General and the National Treasurer as is standard practice, and in accordance with the NEC Resolution.”

Meanwhile, NUP has also offered an explanation on Bobi Wine’s monthly salary. (See Details Here).
