Mbarara City fight back to earn a point at Kakyeka

Express yet again failed to collect three points from Kakyeka after drawing with Mbarara City at Kakyeka stadium on Wednesday.

Express had a better first half but they had a very difficult display in the second part of the match as the Ankole lions pushed them to defence from the start of second period.

Godfrey Lwasibawa had sent Express in front in the first half through a freekick 18 yards from the goal though they wasted many chances that could have buried the game.

”we are happy for the point because it is not easy to get a point from Mbarara. The second half was too physical and they can do everything in Mbarara” Wasswa Bbosa Express Fc coach said

Mbarara City which is still missing their head coach Brian Ssenyondo who is on the international duty with Uganda Cubs in Rwanda changed the game in the second half and it paid off when Defender Sulaiman Bamba met Aheebwa conner kick to level the game at 1-1.

”our players are fatigued but we are going to make sure that we put them in better conditions to get three points in the next game” Kisseka Muhamad Mbarara City interim coach said

Mbarara City has lost two games out of the four game played so far in Uganda Premier League.
