The Archbishop of Mbarara Lambert Bainomugisha told Ugandans to vote for leaders in the 2021 general elections who will be able to respect human rights and fight corruption.
while delivering his Christmas message to the Christians on Friday, Archbishop Bainomugisha noted that campaign periods are always hectic to politicians and voters since every one is targeting to be aleader but they should restrain themselves from any form of violence to get a peaceful election.
Archbishop Bainomugisha asked political leaders at all levels to hold their tempers so that their supporters are not incited to any form of violence that is not neccessary for the development of the country.
He prayed for Ugandans to use their discretion, wisdom and Prudence to select a right leader that is intentioned to move the country forward without corrupt and graft tendencies.
Archbishop Bainomugisha said the country needs leaders who are true shepherds that will ensure well being of Ugandans.
