A man believed to be an activist of President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has left Ugandans in shock after dropping his trousers in protests of the failure by the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom to mourn fallen former security minister Gen Elly Tumwine.

A video showing a man blasting Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga and National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine for not sending condolence messages to the UPDF and Gen Tumwine’s family, has been making rounds on social media.

In the same controversial video, the man is heard hurling insults at the Baganda people of Uganda. He is also heard and seen blasting those who have been celebrating the demise of Gen Tumwine, a man famous for firing the first shot that sparked off the 1981 bush war by the National Resistance Army (NRA).

Some of the social media users have claimed that the man in the video is Kissa kya Mukama Yiga, an NRM cadre. But we couldn’t independently verify the man’s identity.

But in the video, the shameless man is seen pulling down his trousers to curse the kabaka, katikkiro and Bobi Wine.

It should be remembered that Gen Elly Tumwine’s body was laid to rest yesterday in Kazo District. (Read Story Here).

During his funeral ceremony, Retired Major General Kahinda Otafiire blasted Ugandans celebrating Gen Elly Tumwine’s death, saying only fools can quarrel with a dead body, and making it clear that stupidity was not an offence. (Read Story Here).

Otafiire also revealed Gen Elly Tumwine’s final message to surviving bush war generals before he died. (Read Story Here).
