President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has appointed Lucy Mbonye Nakyobe as the new Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet.
Nakyobe replaces John Mitala.
“By virtue of the Powers given to me under Article 174 (2) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby, appoint Ms. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye as theHead of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet,” announced Museveni.
Nakyobe has served as State House comptroller since 2010.
Jane Barekye will replace Nakyobe as State House Comptroller.
