The UPDF has released the funeral program for fallen bush war fighter Lt Gen Pecos Kutesa.
Lt Gen Kutesa died in India recently.
Now, according to UPDF spokesperson Brig Flavia Byekwaso, Kutesa’s body will arrive at Entebbe International Airport at 12 noon today.
The body will then be taken to hospital for further management.
Brig Byekwaso says that Kutesa’s body will be taken to his Buziga home at 8am on Saturday, August 21.
At 10am of the same day, a requiem service will happen at the fallen general’s Buziga home.
The body will then be driven to Kutesa’s rural home in Kabula, Lyantonde District.
A church service and vigil will happen at the general’s home in Kabula, Lyantonde.
The following day, Sunday, August 22, a funeral seevice will start in Kabula Lyantonde.
Byekwaso also revealed that the general, who had been retired from the army days before his death, will be honored in a special session in the Parliament of Uganda on Tuesday, August 24 at 2pm.
