President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has confirmed he will address the country on the second wave of the Covid19 tomorrow, Saturday, May 28; raising fears of another lockdown.
Museveni’s address will be televised.
It follows a May 27 emergency meeting the president held with the national Covid19 taskforce on the second wave situation.

“I will address the nation tomorrow at 8:00pm regarding the COVID-19 situation,” said the president.
“The address will be live on all Television and Radio stations. Ensure that you tune in. Thank you.”
One of the recommendations from the taskforce to the president, reports claim, is a three-week lockdown.
As the economy reels from the effects of the first lockdown, there are fears another shutdown would be more devastating.
