President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni released the top 20 districts with the highest Covid19 cases in the past three weeks.
With new Covid19 strains fuelling an upsurge in cases and deaths, due to their high transmission rates, it is believed more cases could mean more and faster spread.
Kampala has registered 15,347 cases in the past 21 days, followed by Wakiso with 2,214.
Gulu, Luweero, Mbarara, Tororo, Masaka, Busia, Jinja, Mbale, Mukono and Soroti follow.
Others in the top 20 are: Mpigi, Kyotera, Arua, Yumbe, Kasese, Kiryandongo, Hoima and Kabarole.
Although there are higher chances of contracting Covid19 in these epicenters, you can still catch the virus in districts with fewer cases if you disregard Covid19 prevention guidelines.
