First son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has appointed Prince Kassim Nakibinge, a man believed to be a strong ally of NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the co-chairman of his 48th birthday party organizing committee.
Kainerugaba first named Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka as the chairman. (Read Story Here).
But he later named Nakibinge, the titular head of Islam in Uganda, as co-chair.
He also announced a 16-member committee that will steer his mega birthday party.
The list includes motor-mouthed commentators Andrew Mwenda and Tamale Mirundi, singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool, and media owners Arinaitwe Rugyendo of Red Pepper , Giles Muhame, and Balaam Barugahara.
Vision Group CEO Don Wanyama is also on the list.
