LIST: See Names of Ugandans who Have Landed Juicy Jobs at Education Ministry & Education Institutions

A little over a month since candidates sat interviews for various jobs under the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Education Service Commission (ESC) has released the list of successful candidates who will take up the jobs.

The successful candidates were part of the batch that sat their interviews for the jobs in two key departments and one directorate in the Ministry of Education and Sports, whose overall boss is first lady Janet Kataaha Museveni.

The units are Department of Health Education and Training, Directorate of Education Standards and Department of Technical Vocational Education and Training, which is popularly referred to as TVET.

Under the TVET department, ESC, on behalf of the ministry of education and sports appointed staff for the National Instructors’ College Abilonino, Lira. They are Abejja Elizabeth, Acut Geoffrey Moses, Akongo Dorcas Janet, Bwambale Wesley, Egau Betty, Kitiibwa Teddy, Olupot Badru, Omony Terence and Tiniye Daniel.

The ESC also appointed staff for Nakawa Vocational Training Institute. They are: Alinaitwe Christine, Gidaga Kitts Morris, Kiggundu John Baptist, Nduhura Evans, Okung Samson and Otabong Moses.

For the Ministry of Education and Sports headquarters, the Education Service Commission has appointed a Senior Technical Vocational Education Officer in charge of TVET Operating Procedures and Standards). The ESC appointed Masika Shifra Senior Technical Vocational Education Officer.

The commission also appointed staff for the Directorate of Education Standards. These included:  Hadali Aggrey, Ojwang Daniel and Oyuku Dickens.

Under the Department of Health Education and Training, the Education Service Commission appointed staff for Ntungamo College of Nursing and Midwifery. The appointed staff are: Atuhaire Edridah and Nkwasibwe Obedi.

The ESC says the successful candidates should pick their notification letters on July 02 starting at 9am from the Education Service Commission Registry at Farmers House in Kampala. They will be expected to present their original identification cards (IDs).

“Those whose names don’t appear on the list should consider themselves unsuccessful,” said Mohammed Kaaya, the acting secretary to the Education Service Commission.
