The Ministry of Education and Sports has released the final shortlist for the UK Commonwealth Scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The shortlisted applicants include those who want to pursue master’s and PhD degrees.
These will now proceed to the interview stage.
The ministry’s scholarship desk has now directed the shortlisted candidates to fill the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) online application form starting Monday October 18, 2021.
“Upload the online application form before 1st November 2021. Sometimes the system tends to be clogged towards the deadline; therefore, the earlier you upload your data the better,” the scholarships desk has advised.
“The link to the CSC website will be sent to your individual email addresses. The hard copy of the filled online application form should be delivered to the Department of Admissions Scholarships and Student Affairs at Legacy Towers 1st Floor wing B by 1st November 2021.”
The scholarships unit further told the applicants that the dates and schedule for the face to face interviews will be communicated to them in the first week of November 2021.
A statement from the department added: “The completion of the online application does not constitute the completion of the nomination process, therefore, you need to prepare and appear for the face to face interviews as per the schedule to be communicated to you. This communication cancels the earlier communication made regarding the shortlist and schedule of interviews of this scholarship.”
