LIST: See Names of Thousands of Makerere Students in the 74th Graduation Book

Thousands of students will graduate from Makerere University, Uganda’s oldest and largest higher learning institutions, at the 74th graduation ceremony.

The graduands will gather at the Makerere University Freedom Square on separate dates for the conferment of diplomas, bachelors, master’s and doctorate degrees.

While Makerere University had set January 22- 26, 2024 as the dates for its 74th graduation, there were changes in the schedule, pushing the ceremony to the last week of January and the first week of February 2024.

“After consultations with key stakeholders, as chairperson of the senate, I am rescheduling the 74th graduation ceremony to commence on Monday January 29, 2024 and end on February 2, 2024. Please make necessary arrangements accordingly,” Makerere University Vice Chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe said in a December 15 statement.

Meanwhile, the university has promised that graduands will walk away with their transcripts after graduation.
