The Office of the Academic Registrar at Makerere University has released the undergraduate admission lists for Privately sponsored students for the Academic Year 2024-2025. The lists also include names of students admitted to Makerere University Business School (Mubs).
The list comprises names of A-Level applicants who had applied for various academic programs or courses, and have been successful, meeting the requirements for admission to the country’s premier institution of higher learning.
With thousands applying to study at Makerere University and other top public universities, education institutions use cut-off points to decide who gets admitted to what academic program and who misses out on what course.
“The Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) through the Public Universities Joint Admissions Board (PUJAB) releases fresh cut-off points every academic year for Academic Programmes under the Government Sponsorship Scheme,” explains Makerere University.
“Additionally, the Office of the Academic Registrar, Makerere University in turn releases fresh cut-off points every academic year for Academic Programmes under the Private Sponsorship Scheme.”
