LIST: See Janzi Awards Winners 2021 (Day Two)

Artistes and other creatives in the arts and motion domain (music, film and video) were today awarded in the inaugural edition of the Janzi Awards.

This was the second day of the Janzi awards gala.

The guest of honor at today’s award ceremony was government chief whip Thomas Tayebwa (Ruhinda North – NRM).

“The government is setting up 21 industrial parks and I will talk to [the president] so that we dedicate one to the creative industry,” said Tayebwa in his remarks at the event held at the Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala.

Worth the mention among today’s winners was gospel singer Levixone who won both the outstanding faith based musician award and the humanitarian award.

2.       Outstanding RnB artiste: Liam Voice
3.       Outstanding Faith based musician: Levixone
4.       Humanitarian award: Levixone
5.       Outstanding video award: Tupaate by Pia Pounds
6.       Outstanding TV Drama: Baguma
7.       Outstanding dance group: Masaka Kids Africana
8.       Outstanding Western Uganda Artiste: Ray G
9.       Lifetime Achievement award: Moses Matovu of Afrigo Band
10.   Outstanding song of the year: Tupaate by Pia Pounds
11.   Male Artiste of the Year: Pallaso
12.   Female Artiste of the Year: Azawi
13.   Album of the Year: African Music (Azawi)
14.   Outstanding Actor: Housen Mushema
15.   Outstanding Entrepreneurial Artiste: Bobi Wine
16.   Outstanding Afro-Zouk Artiste: B2C
17.   Outstanding performer: Sheebah
18.   Outstanding DJ: DJ Slick Stuart and Roja
19.   Outstanding Legendary artiste: Mowzey Radio (RIP)
20.   Outstanding Vocalist: Kenneth Mugabi
