LIST: Government Hires Staff for 46 Grant Aided Secondary Schools

The Ministry of Education and Sports, through the Education Service Commission (ESC), has hired staff for 46 grant aided secondary schools.

The appointed staff were picked from candidates who sat for interviews from June 17 to June 28, 2024. Mohammed Kaaya, the Secretary of the Education Service Commission recently released the interview results.

Kaaya directed head teachers of concerned schools to pick the notification letters for the hired staff from the Education Service Commission offices at Farmers House in Kampala.

The ESC acting secretary made it very clear that no other staff should go to Farmers House to pick the notification letters.

School head teachers were expected to have picked the successful candidates’ notification letters by October 10, 2024.

The 46 schools include Pagirinya SSS in Adjumani, Lewa SSS in Adjumani, Okufura SSS in Arua, Pece SSS in Gulu City, Nancy Comprehensive SS for the Deaf in Lira City, Kalanamu SSS in Luwero, St Augustine SS Ruharo in Bushenyi, Kibona Vocational SS in Bushenyi, Kabira SS in Mitooma and Rwoburunga SSS in Mitooma.

Others are: Nyakatete SSS in Mitooma, Rutoto SS in Rubirizi, Kichwamba High School in Rubirizi, Maama Janet Museveni SS in Ntungamo, Rwenyaga SS in Rwampara, St Joseph Vocational Katenga SS in Rwampara, St Joseph’s Vocational SS Rushasha in Rukungiri, St Donati SS Kyeshero in Kanungu, Bupadhengo SS in Kamuli and Nalango SS in Kamuli.

Also on the list is Nakabale SDA SS in Luuka, Kyabazinga Benevolent SS Nsinze in Namutumba, St Andrew’s SS Wabulungu in Mayuge, Bumasikye SS in Mbale, Masira SS in Bulambuli, Buyaka Parents SS in Bulambuli, St Johnmary Vianney Community SS in Fort Portal City, Kitaihuka Community SS in Kakumiro, St Paul SS Kihumuro in Kakumiro, and Micindo Mistellbach Millennium School in Kamwenge.

Others are: Bishop Balya Girls SS in Kamwenge, Mitandi SS in Bunyangabu, Rugarama SS Kakasi in Kitagwenda, Mariam High School in Kampala, Mpanga Muslim SS in Butambala, St Aloysius Vocational Lwamaggwa in Rakai, Lugusulu High School in Sembabule, Kikandwa UMEA SS in Kassanda, Kasambya Quran SS in Mubende, and St Joseph Komuge in Bukedea.

The list also includes Aminit High School in Bukedea, Swagere Community SS in Kaberamaido, Ojie Memorial SS in Kumi, Kabwele Memorial SS in Kumi, St Paul Apapai SSS in Serere and Agora SSS in Soroti City.
