A leaked cabinet list published by Daily Monitor shows Ambassador Adonia Ayebare tipped to replace Sam Kutesa as foreign affairs minister, Ramathan Ggoobi to succeed Matia Kasaija as finance minister and Journalist Andrew Mwenda’s sister to take over from Amelia Kyambadde as trade minister.
Ambassador Ayebare is Uganda’s permanent representative to the UN.
Kutesa is one of President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s longest serving ministers and could be leaving cabinet.
Ggoobi is a Mubs lecturer. Kasaija will be sent to the ministry of general duties in the office of the prime minister, according to the leaked cabinet list.
Muhanga is Fortportal North MP and former Burahya MP. She has been a vocal defender of the NRM and has served as NRM parliamentary caucus publicist.
