LATEST UPDATE: Jacob Oulanyah’s Family Finally Allows MPs to Look at Late Speaker’s Body

The family of the Jacob Oulanyah, the late speaker of the 11th Parliament, has allowed MPs to view the body of the former head of the legislative arm of goverment.

During the national funeral service at the Kololo Independence Grounds, presidency minister Milly Babirye Babalanda announced that Speaker Anita Among had informed her that the family had allowed the legislators to view Oulanyah’s body.

On April 05, when MPs asked Speaker Among to allow them to view Oulanyah’s body, Among told them she had VIEWED THE BODY AND DRESSED IT ON THEIR BEHALF.

But the calls on Parliament to allow the body to be viewed by the MPs continued.

Oulanyah’s ex-wife Winnie Amoo called for the OPENING OF OULANYAH’S CASKET FOR THE PUBLIC VIEWING OF HIS BODY.

And immediately the president concluded his speech, Minister Babalanda announced that the family had allowed the MPs to look at the body.
