Kirunda Kivejinja burial program out

Deceased second deputy prime minister Ali Kirunda Kivejinja will be laid to rest December 20, his family has announced.

Kivejinja passed on at the Mulago National Referral Hospital in the capital Kampala on December 19.

He had been hospitalized for weeks, with some social media users prematurely declaring him dead on at least two occasions.

According to his family, the fallen politician’s body will leave Mulago Hospital at 9am of December 20.

It will be transported to Bugweri for National prayers at Gadaffi Mosque at 10:30am.

The body will not be taken to the mosque.

Funeral prayers with his body will happen at Bubinga Primary Playground at 12pm.

Burial will be at his home at Buwabe village, Bugweri at 2:00pm.
