Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) have terminated manager Mike Mutebi on Monday evening.
According to KCCA FC website, the club agreed to cancel Mutebi’s contract effective today (Monday)
“KCCA FC and the Manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi have today, the 29th of March 2021 agreed by mutual consent to terminate his employment with immediate effect.” statement reads
Coach Mutebi’s assistant Morley Byekwaso will take charge the management of the club as they are seeking for Mutebi’s replacement.
“Morley Byekwaso takes charge of all First Team duties as the Interim Manager immediately. We wish Morley and the Team the best of luck.” statements continues
The statement added “The Club, under his stewardship has attained Three (03) League titles, Two (02) Uganda Cups, Four (04) Super Cups and One (01) CECAFA Clubs Cup over the last five years making him the most successful Manager in the Club’s history.”
Mutebi will always be remembered for the successes he achieved while at KCCA who saw the club develop into one of thebiggest clubs in the country.
”The Club recognizes his immense contribution in making KCCA FC the leading Club in Uganda and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”
