Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga has confirmed the death of Kabaka Mutebi’s ‘mother’ Nnamasole Margaret Nagawa Siwoza Muyanja.
Katikkiro Mayiga said Nnamasole Margaret Nagawa Siwoza Muyanja passed on early December 01 morning.
He explained that Nnamasole Nagawa Siwoza had taken over from Nnamasole Rebecca Zirimbuga.
Nnamasole Zirimbuga had succeeded Nnamasole Sarah Nalule Kisosonkole, the mother of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
In a statement released in the local Luganda language, Katikkiro Mayiga revealed Nnamasole Margaret Nagawa Siwoza Muyanja’s cause of death.
“The Nnamasole suffered a stroke last year. Since then, she has been on treatment until the Lord called her,” said Mayiga.
The Katikkiro has since announced a committee to handle the Nnamasole’s burial arrangements.
Mengo’s second deputy prime minister Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa will head the committee working on the Nnamasole’s funeral arrangements.
