Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will address the Buganda Bumu North America (BBNAC) today, May 29.
The Kabaka’s address will be held virtually, over Zoom, due to Covid19 restrictions.
Buganda radio CBS said the address will happen at 5pm local time.
This year’s BBNAC is the association’s fourth biennial meeting.
The theme of the BBNAC is ‘Buganda n’Omulembe gwa Tekinologia’ (translated to Buganda and the Age of Technology).
BBNAC is running a computer fundraiser to boost the kingdom’s capacity to integrate ICT in its work.
The Zoom meeting will be the first the Kabaka will be addressing since he appeared sick for his birthday.
