Justice Byabakama nominates Bob Wine for Presidency

Chairman Independent Electoral commission (EC)Simon Mugyenyi Byabakama has fully nominated Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine as a presidential candidate in 2021 elections.

Kyagulanyi who arrived at the Kyambogo nomination center in a company of his wife, National Unity Platform Spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi, Makindye East MP of Parliament Allan Ssewanyana, his Brother Nubian Lee, Bugiri Municipality Asuman Basililwa and Mityana municipality MP Zaake Francis

EC had earlier gazatted 10am Kyagulanyi’s time for nomination but reached at 10:48am which Byabakama said is a wrong mentality.

Byabakama warned Kyagulanyi to stop waving to his supporters in order to avoid inciting people during this time of COvid-19.

Kyagulanyi has been given the security vehicle and security detail as has been done to other candidates that were nominated on Monday.

Kyagulanyi now joins President Museveni Tibuhaburwa of NRM, Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu of Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) and Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde Kakurugu as an independent candidate with his slogan a renewed Uganda.
