Uganda’s Presidency is mourning the death of yet another district commissioner. Joseph Sekasamba has been serving as the Deputy Resident District Commissioner (D – RDC) for Kitagwenda District.
The news of the demise of Sekasamba was confirmed by Milly Babirye Babalanda, the minister in charge of the presidency. Babalanda, who supervises all RDCs, D-RDCs, RCCs and D-RCCs.
Minister Babalanda noted that D-RDC Sekasamba had been hospitalized for sometime before he breathed his last. Sekasamba previously served in Kira Municipality, Masaka and in Kyenjojo District as Deputy RDC.
“Friends, I regret to announce the death of Mr. Joseph Sekasamba, Deputy RDC Kitagwenda, who has gone to be with the Lord after some time on the sick bed. May God comfort his family in this difficult moment,” wrote Babalanda, one of the most powerful ministers in President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s cabinet.
Sekasamba’s death happened a few months since the demise of former Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) spokesperson and Kayunga RDC Hajji Nsereko Mutumba. (Read Story Here).
