Judge orders Nabilah and her husband Isaac Sempala to share Buziga house

High Court judge Stephen Mubiru has directed Kampala Woman MP Nabilah Naggayi and her enstranged husband Isaac Sempala to stop embarrassing themselves by throwing each other out of their Buziga house.

While ruling on Makindye Magistrate’s Court protection orders that had blocked Sempala from accessing the house, Justice Mubiru told the feuding couple to stay in the Buziga home in peace until court determines the main application.

Sempala is seeking declarations to the effect that he is the rightful owner of the house and land in Katuuso, Buziga, and that any attempts by Nabilah and former Makerere University vice chancellor Prof Venansius Baryamureeba to take over the house to clear a Shs850m friendly loan were illegal and unlawful.

Mubiru set today Thursday, April 22 as the date when all parties involved – Nabilah, Sempala and Baryamureeba as well as their lawyers – should meet at the Buziga house.

The meeting is expected to set rules to be followed by Nabilah and Sempala in order to live in the Buziga house in peace until the determination of their matter in May 2021.
