Jose Chameleone to Bobi Wine: I'm the Godfather of Uganda's Music Industry

Singer and controversial politician Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone has come out to tell NUP president and artiste Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine that he (Chameleone) and Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool are the godfathers of Uganda’s creative industry.

At the weekend, Jose Chameleone ‘left’ Bobi Wine and returned to NRM after President Museveni’s brother Toyota handed him a Range Rover car.

Since then, a war of words has ensued between the two artistes-turned-politicians.

Jose Chameleone said Bobi Wine treated him like trash.

On the other hand, Bobi Wine said Chameleone is cheap and greedy.

Now, Jose Chameleone has told Bobi Wine the godfathers of Uganda’s creative industry will continue to do their work.

He shared a photo of him posing with Bebe Cool, the people he thinks are godfathers of Uganda’s music industry.

“The God Fathers of the Creative Industry are Alive and Kicking. This wasn’t started today. [We started it] long time ago with so many sacrifices and built a remarkable milestone that has paved way for many talented youths beyond borders,” said Jose Chameleone.

“We shall continue to serve with our outmost loyalty for Uganda.”
