Jacob Oulanyah’s Body Taken to His Muyenga Home

The body of Jacob Oulanyah, the late speaker of the 11th Parliament, has been taken to his home in Muyenga in Kampala.

Oulanyah died in the US on March 20. (Read Story Here).

The speaker is said to have died of cancer. (Read Story Here).

On April 01, it there was an outpouring of emotions and tears at the Entebbe International Airport as Oulanyah’s body returned home. (Read Story Here).

The body has been at the A-Plus Funeral Home.

On April 03, the body was driven to Oulanyah’s Muyenga home.

Speaker of Parliament Anita Among, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, and DP president general Norbert Mao were some of the dignitaries at Muyenga’s home for a service.

Members of the Uganda Bikers Association rode as the funeral van carrying their former member’s body made its way to the Muyenga home.

Acholi dancers sang their culture’s mourning songs.

The children that Oulanyah was paying school fees for at Seroma Christian School also introduced themselves before the mourners.
