JACOB OULANYAH HEALTH CONCERNS: MPs Pile More Pressure on Speaker to appear in public

Kalungu West MP Joseph Gonzaga Ssewungu and his Kilak South counterpart Gilbert Olanya have demanded an explanation on the fate and health condition of Speaker of Parliament Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah.

On July 21, Ssewungu and Olanya tasked deputy speaker Anita Annet Among to offer an explanation on the speaker’s fate or rumored sickness.

Where is Speaker Jacob Oulanyah?

“We want to know what is the fate of the Speaker of Parliament. We are 529 MPs, even if he is down we must know that he is down. When Rebecca Kadaga was sick one time, MPs were informed,” said Ssewungu.

“None of us is coming out to give the public what is happening to the Speaker.”

The MPs suggested that Oulanyah comes out and appears in public to put to rest weeks of speculation on his health.
