The body of Jacob Oulanyah, the former Speaker of Parliament, will spend a night in Parliament ahead of burial.
Oulanyah died in the United States on March 20. (Read Story Here).
According to presidency minister Milly Babirye Babalanda, Oulanyah’s body will spend a night in Parliament hours after MPs have paid their tributes to the fallen Omoro County MP.
“Tuesday 5th April 2022 at 9.00 am the body will be moved to the Parliament of Uganda where the Rt. Hon. Speaker will lead the Members of Parliament to pay their final respects,” said Minister Babalanda in her statement.
“The body will spend the night in Parliament.”
