National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has dismissed reports that he leads the Illuminati Group in Uganda and that he has ordered his agents in the country to kill people and get him human heads.
Illuminati is a secret and mysterious religious worldwide organisation believed to dominate the world, engineer revolutions and assassinations.
In 2017, Ugandan internal affairs minister Gen Jeje Odongo blamed a spate of murders of women in Entebbe and Nansana municipalities in Wakiso District on illuminati.
A number of successful international and national figures have been linked to Illuminati.
Now, according to images of leaflets shared by Bobi Wine, some people were reportedly moving around claiming they were working for him under the ‘Illuminati Group.’
Information on the leaflets also indicated that Bobi Wine had demanded several human heads, meaning that a number of people would have to be killed to fulfill this demand.
But the NUP leader has distanced himself from the mysterious group, making it clear to Ugandans that the threatening notices are not from him.
He also termed alleged attempts to link him to Illuminati and murders the “usual NRA bush-war tactics.”
“It has come to our notice that regime operatives are going around villages throwing printed and hand-written notices of this nature, threatening to cause harm to people in our name. These are usual NRA bush-war tactics which our people should ignore and treat with contempt,” wrote Bobi Wine.
“Of course the regime has been deliberately trying to keep our people in ignorance so that they can easily play on their minds with these kinds of things.”
