I’ll soon return home: Lukwago speaks out on his health condition

Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has spoken out on his health condition, road to recovery and plans to return to Uganda.

Lukwago shared photos of him taking a health walk in the South Wing of Nairobi Hospital.

Lukwago has been at the health facility for days after he suffered persistent chest and abdominal pain.

Some social media death mongers had even claimed he was dead.

Now, Lukwago has further cleared the air on his alleged death, expressing optimism he would soon recover fully.

“Currently in a stable condition and on course to full recovery, praise be to the Lord of the Universe,” he wrote.

“I will always be grateful to the comitted team of physicians and health workers at The Nairobi Hospital led by Professor Godfrey Lule and to you all, dear friends, for your spirited concern and prayers.”

He added that he was “looking forward to returning home in a couple of days, In Sha Allah [God willing].”
