National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has penned an inspiring message to his son Solomon Kampala Kyagulanyi as he turned 17 today.
Bobi Wine praised God for the gift of a son that he says is intelligent and humble. He added that he sees everything he missed as a child in Solomon.
“17 years ago, I got my first child. It was a boy. It was you. I’m thankful to God that you have grown up into an intelligent and handsome yet humble young man,” wrote Bobi Wine.
“Through you, I see everything I missed in my childhood coming back to me.”
Bobi Wine further advised his son to be the best version of himself, believe God, preserve his culture and not to give in to fear but to respect people.
“As you take yo last step to adulthood, I pray you become the best version of yourself. Trust in God. Be honest. Love your culture and your country, be unapologetically Afrikan,” added the NUP leader.
“Respect every one but fear no body. Happy birthday my son Kampala Solomon Kyagulanyi.”
Months ago, Bobi Wine’s son Solomon Kampala was in the news after he was reportedly caught with marijuana at school and suspended from St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK). Bobi Wine would also later fume at SMACK bosses after they blocked his son Solomon from becoming prefect over poor grades. (Read Stories Here and There).
