On Friday URA climbed on top of Star times Uganda Premier League after coming from down to beat KCCA by 2-1 at Philip Omondo stadium.
KCCA came into the game with three wins out of four whereas the tax collectors were unbeaten in four. Sam Simbwa’s boys struggled in the first 25 minutes of the first half before Brian Aheebwa scored the opening goal for the hosts in the 26th minute.
Shafik Kagimu doubled in the 36th minute to give the visitors a lead as the tax collectors controlled the game and their defence looked more stable and comfortable.
After conceding, the tax collectors controlled the game and pushed harder for Benjamin Nyakojo to level the matters through a powerful header into the top corner five minutes after KCCA had taken lead.
The tax collectors have so far won against Bul, SC Villa ,KCCA and picked a point from Mbarara and Bright stars this season but a win at KCCA gives them hope to challenge for the tittle this season.

KCCA’ Mike Mutebi has been challenging his players to stop being reluctant in some games which was again portrayed in the this game.
URA came into the game with a superior head to head record against KCCA as the two teams have played 20 times in Uganda Premier League but the tax collectors have won 8 games lost six and drawn six.
