HE’S BACK: Ex-VP Ssekandi Returns to the Country Following Reports That He Was Rushed to Dubai Hospital in Critical Condition

Former Vice President (VP emeritus) Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi has returned to Uganda after being out of the country for a number of weeks. Ssekandi had reportedly gone for a holiday with his wife Margaret.

But there were reports that the VP emeritus, Ssekandi was rushed to a Dubai Hospital in critical condition. Nearly two weeks since the reports on Ssekandi’s health condition spread like wildfire, the former Member of Parliament (MP), former Speaker of Parliament and former Vice President has returned to Uganda.

Ssekandi was seen with his wife Margaret on their return to Uganda. He wished Ugandans a happy weekend and said it was “good to be back home.” Ssekandi also talked about real friendship, saying it can only be confirmed in bad times. He then praised his real friends and those he works with for showing his true love.

“The day you lose everything is the day you’ll know who your real friends are. Thank you for the love you’ve showed me my real friends and workmates. Blessings only,” said the former Vice President.

Before he flew out of the country and before he was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ssekandi had been seen with his wife Margaret as the couple were clearly ‘eating life with a big spoon.’ (See Details and Photos Here).

Months before this, Ex-VP Ssekandi was engaged in a legal battle with a woman who claimed to be his side dish over land and properties in Kampala and Masaka. The woman was angry with Ssekandi for reportedly neglecting her and the children he father with her, and for kicking them out of the house as well as other multi-billion properties.
