JOSEPH SABITI FAREWELL MESSAGE

Days ago, Sabiti announced he was leaving the station at the end of August 2021.

“After close to ten years, I took a decision to quit Journalism and as such at the end of the Month I will be taking a bow!

I’m grateful to you all for giving me a chance because we hold the space in public trust! Thank you Uganda!

When I sent in my notice of resignation at NBS TV left me with my ID, medical insurance card and told me I was always welcome back any day! 9 months later I was back in the newsroom.

I will not say good bye to my NBS TV family now because for the next few days will still be on air doing my best

I will however be on the frontline till the end of month so let us keep the conversation going on Frontline.

I hope that in the coming years I will be able to teach in Journalism school and also mentor one or two young souls.

NBS FAREWELL MESSAGE TO JOSEPH SABITI

NBS TV and Next Media Services have praised Sabiti for his contribution and wished him well.

Thank you for the excellent work you have given us for the year you have been back with us, delivering quality live broadcasts, analysis, and stories at the Political Command Centre,” the station said in a farewell statement.

We wish you the absolute best in your new role. We trust that your experience with us makes you the single most qualified professional for the role.

By the time of his exit from the station, Sabiti was the host of Frontline Show.

The king of Uganda’s live reporting, Sabiti leaves a huge gap at NBS TV that management may take some time to fill.
