An elderly minister in President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s cabinet has registered steady recovery after weeks of sickness.
James Ikuya Magode, the Minister of State for EAC Affairs, appeared in Parliament on March 29.
The 74-year-old minister even presented his ministry’s policy statement.
Presiding officer, deputy speaker Thomas Tayebwa, was glad to see Magode “doing much better health-wise.”
The minister had been indisposed for some time.
