God, why? Katumba Wamala says he doubted God when he saw daughter dying

Outgoing works and transport minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala has told mourners he doubted God when he saw his daughter Brenda Nantongo dying.

Nantongo and Gen Wamala’s driver Haruna Kayondo died in a June 01 morning shooting at Kisota Road.

When he left hospital, a bullet still stuck in his shoulder, Wamala told mourners gathered at his Najjera home June 02 he had doubted God when he beheld his daughter and driver dying in an assassination attempt against him.

“I need to ask God to forgive me because in that moment I asked myself, I am a good person, I love all people. Why would something like this happen to me?” recalled the general.

“I ask God to forgive me because I doubted him in that moment.”
